In order to cultivate the students' Chinese foundation and elegant temperament, the school has developed a series of Chinese classical classics courses and regularly held exhibitions and experience activities to lay a solid foundation of traditional Chinese culture for students.
11月2日，济南开元外国语小学在济外教诲集团首届“沐诗词风采，育鹊华少年”诗词大会上一展风采，以丰富的古诗文积累和富有韵致的朗诵，一举经办团体和个人多项大奖。
六年级二班简可妮同学，六年级三班葛奕鸥、孙小鹤、鹿洪瑞，六年级五班王瀚毅和六年级七班王羽馨六位同学代表开元参加了诗词大会。赛场上，开元学子在必答题掉队其他四队的情形下，在第二轮选答题全部答对，与其他小队拉近间隔，并终极利用抢答题绝地反击，进入末了的团队飞花令。
团队飞花令环节，六位同学准备充分，终极以团队胜出并且六个人无一人淘汰的佳绩赢得胜利，为开元捧回了“诗词英雄团队奖”。
个人飞花令部分，是开元的六位同学相互竞赛。终极，六年级三班的葛奕鸥同学得到“诗词小博士”称号，孙小鹤同学得到“诗词小学士”称号。
成功不是有时，它源于开元一以贯之的培养理念，源于学校一以贯之的文化浸润。
依托传统文化课程，学校根据学生知识储备和认知规律，精选适宜不同年级学生诵背的古诗名篇，并发动学生为诗文配图，汇编了六册《诗海觅踪》，作为学生学习古典文化的素材。每天的晨读韶光，学生手捧《诗海觅踪》大声朗诵，直至熟背。除此之外，各个年级根据学生的特点，选择《三字经》《弟子规》《论语》《增广贤文》等名家名篇，让学生在读诵中置身于浓浓的传统文化氛围里。
与此同时，晨诵晚读课程帮助学生能够更快的节制古诗文的韵律，提高古文语感，增强对古文的接管能力；“燕山讲堂”“经典诵读”等招牌选修课更让学生见到传统文化的不同传播办法，我们讲诗词、讲历史、讲故事，创造不同综艺节目中的传统文化内涵；学校不定期举办“诗词朗读会”“古诗文畅游”等活动，从学经典到诵经典，从用经典到传经典，我们探路前行，始终武断！
开元学子，就在这浓浓的古诗文浸润里发展，不断增强文化自傲，加深文化秘闻，也厚植了他们的爱国情怀！
中华高下五千年，诗词传承两千年。无数的文人墨客用他们手中的条记载下这残酷的文明，让后世的我们能够从这满满情意的笔墨里窥见他们的悲欢离合，看到历史缝隙里的谆谆小儿百姓之心。这是先人留给我们的宝贝，更是开元学习努力传承的文化基因。这次诗词大会让学生再次领略中国古典文化的魅力，让他们更有兴趣和信心在热爱中体验，在体验中传承，在浸润中发展！
