Water is clear and pebbles white，
Green reeds can be counted in moonlight。
Maidens east and west of the streams，
All wash their silks by the moonbeams。
背景及解析：
白石滩是辋水边上一片白石形成的浅滩，是著名的辋川二十景之一。唐王维的山水诗非常把稳表现景物的光芒和色彩，这首诗便是用暗示的手腕写了月夜的光芒。月之明，水之清，蒲之绿，石之白，相映相衬，给人造成了极其光鲜的视觉感想熏染。本诗的前两句是静态的景物描写，后两句则给白石滩添上了浩瀚鲜活的浣纱少女形象，使得两个画面充满了活气。
