景蜀慧
潇湘夜色凉如水。藕塘喷鼻香谢西风起。
夹岸是青山。两三船火残。
寒鸦栖碧树。一鹭孤飞去。
白露满芳汀。故乡秋月明。
景蜀慧（1956～ ），生于重庆，祖籍山东。中山大学历史学系教授、博士生导师。著有《魏晋墨客与政治》《中国魏晋南北朝文学史》等。
JING Shuhui (1956-), born in Chongqing, whose ancestral home was Shandong Province. She is a professor and Ph. D. supervisor of History Department at Sun Yat-sen University. The poet’s works include Poets and Politics in the Wei and Jin Dynasties,andHistory of Chinese Literary in the Wei & Jin, and Southern & Northern Dynasties.（张琼 张雪丽译）
Crossing the Hsiang River at Night

Cool like water the night in south land is;
From the lotus pond kiosk blows here a breeze.
Beyond the two banks green hills loom
Two or three boats sway fires in gloom.
Cold ravens on a green tree cry;
A heron alone does off fly.
The fragrant shoal’s wet with dew white;
My homeland’s neath the chill moon bright.

ZHAO Yanchun: Professor of English at Shanghai University, Director of Center for Translation of Chinese Culture, Editor of Translating China, President of International Sinology and Education Society, President of Chinese Culture Translation and International Promotion Committee, Executive President of Chinese Classics Bilinguals’ Association, Vice President of China Language Education Association, a proponent of the principle of translating poesie into poesie and classic into classic.
